Snow goose hunting requires lots of work but we have lots of fun. Our spreads usually have about 1000 rags positioned in different formations depending on the wind and how the geese have been flying. During the late season Feb. thru March we use electronic calls and can hunt a half hour before sunrise and sunset. A typical day begins early with coffee and continental breakfast before you and your guide go out to setup for the first flight. We usually setup everyday since the birds move a lot looking for food. We scout everyday trying to keep track of the flocks.
