Bayou Resort is nestled in a forest of oak, hickory and conifer trees. We are located off Highway 101 at the end of a paved county road. A full service marina 1/4 mile away offers slip rentals, boat rentals, and a public hard surfaced launch ramp with courtesy dock. We can also assist with scuba diving and training plans.

Resort Cabins, Cottages
We have various sizes to suit different guest needs. Our cabins have queen (new!) or double beds and sleep 2 to 4 people. Our 2 bedroom cottages have queen (new!), double and single beds and sleep up to 7 people. Our family mobiles sleep up to 7 with all the comforts of a home away from home. All our units have a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishes, pots & pans, toaster, drip coffee maker, and microwaves. We furnish all your linens for the beds, bath and kitchen along with dish and bath soap. Outside there is a BBQ grill and a picnic table. All have heat, air conditioning, and color satellite TV. The only things you need to bring are your clothes, beach towels and food. We have many families who meet here for their vacation.

Vacation Lake Houses - Get More Lodging Value
As an extension of Bayou Resort we've purchased "The Cove", two houses on twenty beautiful acres, The Heights Lodge and The Meadow Cottage, located one mile from the resort. These four bedroom houses take you to the next level in vacation lodging fulfillment. Compared to standard cabins you get more room inside. You get more privacy, more furniture and beds. Outside you get more deck, more parking, more nature, and more yard for the kids. The houses are at the end of a private drive so there's no traffic.

The Cove houses rest in a little valley surrounded by ridges forested in hardwood stands. The yards and the three acre meadow create an open space that puts you just the right distance from the trees. You'll enjoy both wooded and open views, including a cove view of Norfork Lake. And you don't see any other buildings. The meadow and forests are inhabited by song birds, deer, wild turkey, and other small creatures. Our Store and Office
Located at the office is a little store where you can pick up those items you might have ran out of or forgotten to pack. Hunting and fishing licenses are available along with food, tackle and bait. We have maps of the lake and surrounding area to help you find your way. If you wish to hire a fishing guide, there are many on the lake and we can help find the right one for you. If you have a pet you wish to bring with you on vacation, we are one of the few resorts on the lake that accept your small pets.

Resort Grounds
On the grounds of the resort, we offer a swimming pool where the family can sun bath or swim. There is a volleyball / badminton court, a playground that is set up in a large sand box, basketball hoop, and horseshoe pits. We have games for the kids and books for mom available to use at any time. There is a covered pavilion area for visiting, and plenty of room to run and play for your children. There's always a good chance of seeing some local wildlife.
